Product Reviews

Izziwotnot's Bailey Sleigh cot bed isn't the most affordable but it's stylish and well-made. It's easy to put together, although it will require two people. It also looks great in any nursery. Our panel loved the dark wood and the dowel sides. It's sturdy enough to be used until your baby is a toddler. It also complies with British safety standards. The depth isn't too deep that your baby can climb out, and the distance between the slats is no greater than 65mm, which will prevent their head from getting trapped. It's important to keep in mind that you'll need purchase a mattress separately that is an additional PS88.

The sleigh shape of this cot is really beautiful and makes it stand out from the others. It's also simple to put your baby inside and out of it, which is an enormous plus. It's a bit more expensive than some other cot beds, however our panel thought it was worth the extra cost for the look and the durability.

This cot bed comes in a choice of rustic pine or walnut finishes and is suitable for babies from birth. It has three handy mattress heights, meaning you can start your baby by putting the base up so that they can easily get to them during the day and later lower it as they develop. It has teething rails to ensure your child's furniture is protected as well as gums. Once your baby is out of the cot bed, it can be transformed into a junior bed, and then a sofa.

Silver Cross' westport design is another cot with a solid feel and is constructed to last. It can be used from birth as a cot, and later as toddler bed, and finally as an adult bed. (Toddler guard rails are available separately). It was a little challenging for our panel members to convert the crib into a bed, however, their other half said it was simple and took less than five minutes. It's also a bit more expensive than other cots but it's the kind of design that you'd probably want to keep and use for your children as they grow.
